“The biggest problem is that hospitals which we work with don’t have a good idea of their inventory,” Oranski says. “In many cases, the doctors will just add devices and inform IT later.”

In a video interview at Information Security Media Group's recent Healthcare Security Summit in New York, Oranski discusses:

  • The biggest issues involved when securing medical devices;
  • The roles of artificial intelligence and machine learning;
  • How a focus on compliance affects security efforts.

Oranski is vice president of business development at CyberMDX. He was formerly head of business alliances and IoT at Centrica Business Solutions.
