About the Cruise Global Markets Organization:
The Global Markets team is responsible for safely running world-class operations for Cruise's fleets of autonomous vehicles. From driving operating cost savings before our vehicles even hit the factory to managing the complexities of daily AV operations that delight our customers (and everything in between), Global Markets oversees all operations needed to execute our technical and business objectives. Our cross-functional team is composed of operators, engineers, business analysts, and MBAs in multiple cities, and we're always looking for people eager to jump in and help us change the world.

About the role:
The Cruise Global Markets team is looking for a Compliance Manager with regulatory and internal compliance experience. In this position, you will collaborate with Legal, Quality Systems, Operations, and Product Operations to ensure Global Markets remains compliant with local, state, and federal regulations and internal company policies.

Day-to-day responsibilities Include:
Partner with Legal to develop an in-depth understanding of the regulations and internal policies that impact Operations and Customer Care Work with Operations to ensure Cruise can meet internal policies and regulatory requirements from various federal, state, and local agencies Ensure Operations is ready to support new operating permit requirements Ensure Cruise vehicles remain in compliance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards Collaborate with Product Operations to ensure Cruise IT systems can support regulatory requirements such as the NHTSA TREAD Act Develop and execute compliance audit programs You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field 3+ years of professional work experience in a compliance role Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognizing needs, anticipating issues, building consensus and developing solutions Effective communication and teamwork abilities Bonus points!

Law, MBA or other advanced degree Rideshare experience Experience leading teams Perks of being a Cruiser
