"The law applies to anyone dealing with an Indian citizen's data," Doshi said. "While the concept of friendly countries is intriguing, challenges arise in a world where geopolitical situations can shift rapidly, raising questions about the stability of such classifications."
Doshi underscored the need for automation and technological tools to help ensure compliance but added that the law will benefit customers. "The beauty lies in putting the citizen at the heart of technology evolution," he said.
